Colour Pop, if you don't know, is an American brand born and raised in Los Angeles...my favourite place on Earth. It's safe to say Kylie Cosmetics stole the crown as the most sought after liquid lipsticks in 2016, but Colour Pop wasn't far behind. Colour Pop offers liquid lipsticks mostly priced around the $5/6 mark, which is almost a third of the price of Kylie's liquid lipstick singles. Another problem with Kylie Cosmetics is the delivery charges, and high custom charges. I will admit, on my Colour Pop order I had to pay £16.30 custom charges, but a perk with Colour Pop is that there's always an offer for free delivery on International orders usually when spending over $50, so the dent on your purse is a lot less extreme than with Kylie Cosmetics.

My Colour Pop order came to $51 in total (talk about scraping free delivery hahaha!), which exchanges to around £40. As I'd never ordered from Colour Pop, I decided to try out some eye shadows while I was there too, so I ordered the 'Love A Flare' eye shadow set, with a single pan of Paradox shadow, and for the liquid lips, I ordered the 'Out And About' lip set, with a single liquid lip of Speed Dial. 'Out And About' contained Viper, Times Square and Baracuda, and was only $15, and Speed Dial alone was $6!

Liquid lipsticks have tendencies to be really drying, and make the lips really hard/stiff and a in general, just a bit uncomfortable. These Colour Pop Liquid Lips, are actually almost moisturising. They dry completely, but they don't crack and harden like others e.g. Kylie Lip Kits, and they're so lightweight so you cant feel a really heavy layer on the lips. They're so comfortable to wear, and aren't restricting anyway. These lipsticks also wear really well, they last about 4/5 hours without a touch up in my experience, which is an absolute must for a liquid lipstick! The formula is really creamy, and the applicator is quite small making it perfect to carve the shade around the curves of the lips. Usually a matte liquid lip is almost set like cement on the lips, but removing these lipsticks are so so easy; I use Micellar water and it comes off within 2 seconds!

Overall, I would highly recommend Colour Pop Liquid Lipsticks. I am so impressed with the quality and formula of these, and the price!!! This blog post almost turned in to a Colour Pop vs Kylie Cosmetics post hahaha, but honestly I much prefer the formula of Colour Pop's over Kylie. The colour range in Colour Pop is so vast, so there's literally a shade for every occasion and every skin tone. Its always a bonus when products are affordable, and that's definitely what Colour Pop are; the price is perfect for every budget, and the value for money is ridiculously good!

Has anybody else tried Colour Pop liquid lipsticks? Let me know your opinion on them in the comments below, or any other branded liquid lipsticks that you'd recommend!

Lots of love, Megan xo
