My First Charlotte Tilbury Experience
capture your youth with the dreamy glamour of vintage hollywood...
This woman means business.
Being the first product I'd ever purchased from her brand, I didn't know what to expect with the Norman Parkinson Dreamy Glow Highlighter, but wow... I've never used anything quite like it.
First off, I need to say how FABulous the packaging is. From the gift box it comes in, to the actual compact itself. The stunning rose gold, finished off with the elegant portrait of Carmen Dell'Orefice, shot in the Bahamas.
The formula is so soft and silky, with the most beautiful pink glow. Compared to a lot of highlighters I've tried, this glides on the skin flawlessly with no clumping of colour nor a blatant streak of highlight, that some do leave. It is so blendable, buildable and is the perfect shade to compliment any make-up look.
To apply, I use the flat synthetic buffer by Coastal Scents first to place the product and then blend it into the skin using their large synthetic fan brush. This leaves the most subtle but gorgeous finish, and it is so easy to work with.
I am so impressed by my first purchase from the Charlotte Tilbury range, and now I just want to buy it all- a girl can dream!
If you've tried any CT products and think I should try them, let me know in the comments below!
